Saturday, November 15th The cat's cradle held a stunning, immersive, audio+visual spectacular presentation. BIG sound - BIG screens and as usual, Hourly Door prizes.

It was an immersive, massive multimedia show, the likes of which you have never seen before.

Kicking off with the Cranberries. The Cranberries were an influential Irish alternative rock band from Limerick, known for their distinct indie-jangly guitar sound and the unique, Celtic-tinged vocal style of their late lead singer, Dolores O'Riordan. Formed in 1989, the band disbanded in 2019 following O'Riordan's death.

Band History and Style

The band was formed by vocalist Axl Rose and rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, and the classic and best-known lineup stabilized with Rose, Slash (lead guitar), Stradlin, Duff McKagan (bass), and Steven Adler (drums). 

Their debut album, Appetite for Destruction (1987), featuring hits like "Sweet Child o' Mine", "Welcome to the Jungle", and "Paradise City", became a massive success and remains one of the best-selling albums in history. The band released the successful Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II albums in 1991, which featured more complex arrangements, including piano and string sections on ballads like "November Rain"

Kicking off early, at 5PM, this all-ages event filled the venue with the band’s timeless hits, alongside rare concert footage and music videos displayed on large screens.

With no cover charge, this was a perfect night for fans to gather and celebrate The enduring long legacy of each of the bands.

Each part of the tribute united fans of each band, evoking the atmosphere of a concert crowd. The nostalgia from watching old music videos created a vibe, and being surrounded by fellow fans added to the enjoyment.
