With Halloween already being a massive event, it was a dichotomy of panic and joy when the Jays played up to the World Series. Would we be able to manage two intense events in one single night, being just a small sports bar?

Do we lessen the decor for Halloween since its not the focus anymore? What if they win? Is Halloween cancelled?

And the photobooth and karaoke?

Despite being short-staffed due to Halloween and their prior commitments, can we still succeed? Somehow, we are mentally prepared to maintain a positive and grateful attitude, keeping the team spirit alive. We can achieve this!

Reservations were pouring in rapidly. We needed to limit seating, but we were caught between refusing reservations, risking customers choosing other places, and preparing for the challenge of accommodating groups with available seating.

The mood was a rollercoaster of loud roars, cheering and aggressive clapping. Arms jutted out towards screens on every wall any time a play was being judged. Jaws clenched like the fists holding cold pints, the intensity was immense.

Eventho the score was disappointing, the game went hard, and the Jays deserve to be cheered on nonetheless.
